I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta and my Doctorate of Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago. As a part of my doctoral training, I completed a Pre-Doctoral Internship at Emory University’s School of Medicine and clinical externships at various inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities in the Chicagoland area. After receiving my doctorate, I continued my training as a post-doctoral fellow at Georgetown University.

Upon post doc completion, I was invited to join Georgetown’s staff as a Psychologist at Georgetown University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Service.  At Georgetown, I served the law center, providing individual and group psychotherapy to law school students and staff.  Additionally, since 2013, I have taught as adjunct faculty at Montgomery College, as well as guest lectured for undergraduate courses on mental health topics at Georgetown University.

When my family and I decided to move to Los Angeles, I was fortunate to have clients follow me; continuing our work virtually. In my current full-time practice I service adults and couples conducting virtual therapy for clients in the DC area, and in person sessions at my offices in Beverly Hills and Playa Vista, CA.
